Changes to the Elders Insurance weather alert service

As a subscriber to the free Elders Insurance weather alert service http://www.weatheralerts.com.au/ we would like to update you on some changes that have been made to the service.

Elders Insurance launched the weather alert service over ten years ago to provide free, localised weather alerts via email and SMS to registered users. A lot has changed in the last ten years in regard to accessing and using weather data, and as a result we have reviewed the service provided and believe that it is no longer the best solution in market.

What’s changed?

Effective the 1st of October, we no longer offer the free Elders Insurance branded weather alert service and have ceased to send all SMS and email alerts.

How do I access weather alerts?

We recommend that you visit the Elders Weather website and download the free mobile app for iOS or Android mobile phones. Elders Weather provides a specialised, detailed weather service and allows you to set alerts for warnings and forecasts, including a wake-up alarm. The App gives you access to current weather conditions, forecasts, hourly breakdowns, local and national radar, observation history, and tides and moon information.

For even more data and alert options, such as rain, frost risk, wind and more, you can upgrade to a Silver Subscription for only $2.99 per year.

To download the Elders Weather App, please visit your App Store:

Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=au.com.elders.android.weather&hl=en_AU

Thank you for your support of the Elders Insurance weather alert service and we apologise for any inconvenience that this change may cause you. We do assure you that the specialist alerts and data provided by Elders Weather will ensure that you have the best information to suit you and your needs.
