With more than 16 years in the insurance industry Paul is your local agent. He started his insurance career with the National Farmers Union Mutual in the UK before joining Elders Insurance in 2005 as the Elders Insurance Regional Manager. After a stint as the Queensland State Manager, in 2008 Paul took the opportunity to buy into the Elders Insurance Toowoomba franchise. Paul has developed a broad range knowledge in insurance to assist farm and business owners make informed risk management decisions.

Paul has completed a Bachelor in Agricultural Economics. He is fully compliant with the Financial Services Reform Act (2001) and is ASIC Tier 1 and 2 qualified.

Leona has more than 19 years experience in the insurance industry and has been part of the Elders Insurance Toowoomba team since 2011.

She started her insurance career working with NRMA and Suncorp before joining the team at Elders Insurance. She is a Toowoomba local with a good understanding of the local area. In 2019 Leona became a partner in the business alongside Paul Humphreys. 

She is fully compliant with the Financial Services Reform Act (2001), is ASIC Tier 1 and 2 qualified and has Certificate IV in General Insurance.

Matt joined Elders Insurance Toowoomba in 2020 bringing with him some 18 years of insurance background. Matt has spent 15 plus years as a Senior Loss Assessor travelling to all parts of Australia assisting in Catastrophic Events, from Cyclone Larry North QLD and our own Toowoomba Floods in 2011 and most recently Townsville Flooding.

Calling Toowoomba home for well over 30 years, his love for the region is evident.

Matt is an Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance Senior Associate and is ASIC Tier 1 and 2 qualified.

With more than 40 years in the insurance industry, mostly in the Toowoomba region, Colin's insurance knowledge is second to none. Colin has been an Authorised Representative of Elders Insurance since 2000, including time as the agent at Elders Insurance Yeppoon.

He is an Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance Senior Associate and is ASIC Tier 1 and 2 qualified.

Emma joined Elders Insurance Toowoomba in 2017 but has been working in the insurance industry for more than 18 years. She grew up on a large rural property in North West NSW and moved to Toowoomba 19 years ago.

Emma ensures your claims are handled in a professional and timely manner and endeavours to make your claims process as stress-free and easy as possible.

She is fully compliant with the Financial Services Reform Act (2001) and is ASIC Tier 1 accredited.

Jodie has been a part of the Elders Insurance Team since 2009 and is available part time. She grew up locally in Pittsworth and is enjoying being back on the Darling Downs after years living abroad and interstate.

Jodie enjoys helping clients when they need to lodge a claim. She will personally ensure that your claims are managed in a timely and professional manner.

She is fully compliant with the Financial Services Reform Act (2001) and is ASIC Tier 2.

With more than 11 years in the insurance industry for local companies and brokers and having grown up on the Western Downs, Queensland, Jolean has extensive knowledge in all aspects of the insurance industry specialising in the Rural market.

Jolean has a wealth of experience and knowledge that gives our customers confidence that your Insurance requirements will be met. She prides herself on her attention to detail and delivering exceptional customer service.

Jolean is fully compliant with the Financial Services Reform Act (2001) and is ASIC Tier 1 and 2 accredited.

Geri started with the Elders Insurance team in early 2022 and works part time. Geri brings a wealth of knowledge after many years in the insurance call centre for Suncorp Insurance. She enjoys her long weekends each week with time to spend with her toddler but also enjoys coming to work with a fantastic team and awesome clients. Geri is fully compliant in ASIC Tier I and can assist you with your renewals, endorsements, and personal insurances.

Martyn joined the Elders Team in January 2022, coming from a multitude of insurance roles such as: a Personal and Commercial Broker, a Commercial Underwriter and a Product Manufacturer. Martyn moved from the UK to Australia almost 15 years ago. He is passionate about all aspects of insurance, with the ultimate focus, of what is right for our client. Martyn also enjoys being father to his beautiful children and spending time with them and his wife. Martyn is fully compliant in ASIC Tier 1 for General Insurance and Insurance Broking and is here to help with all your renewal questions and queries.

Leeanne come to us from Sedgwick Loss adjusters, where she gained 15 years or experience in the property claim section. She came to us in February of 2023 and took on the motor claims section.

Leeanne moved to Toowoomba from Victoria in 2003 and enjoys her time with her 2 grandchildren on the weekend.

Laura has been in the customer service industry for 15 years, with 3 years of insurance experience at Suncorp. Laura joined Elders in May of 2022 where you will find her working in the policy service section.

Outside of work Laura enjoys getting to the gym, and trying out the different Wineries and Breweries around the region.

Nathan has 17 years of experience working in the insurance industry, most recently working as a Commercial Underwriter with Vero.

In 2023, he joined Elders, looking for a change and a new challenge where he could continue to expand his knowledge of the business and industry.

Outside of work, Nathan is passionate about sports, particularly football. He also enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their two young children.

Amelia joined us in March this year after moving from the Sunshine Coast where she led her own insurance sales team.

Amelia is the youngest of the group but already has 4 years’ experience in the general insurance industry.

Amelia is the cheeky face behind our Facebook page and the instigator of mischief in the office.

Outside of work, Amelia is either with the pit crew of their families race team, riding horses or four-wheel driving.
